Family cell structure
The Family Cell in Leixlip parish is designed to cater for people who are at home with babies and small children during the day such as parents, grandparents and childminders. It can be difficult to get out to an evening cell when you have small children so it takes place in the afternoon. In order to accommodate the children it is a shortened version of the normal cell structure and it is run by cell volunteers who lead the cell, help with the children and provide refreshments at the end. Toys are provided and children are free to run, play and make noise as they want as the parents/carers participate.
